It’s National Careers Week (2nd-7th March 2020) which aims to promote the importance of good careers education. Have you considered a career with Copart UK?
A growing global team
The first thing you need to know, is that we’re a rapidly growing business, with 18 UK locations and over 1,100 employees.
We’ve come a long way. Copart was originally founded in the US in 1982 with the launch of a single salvage yard in California. 38 years on, and Copart Inc is now a global leader in online vehicle auctions and a primary source for vehicle remarketing.
2007 was a landmark year for Copart Inc, when they expanded into the United Kingdom to form Copart UK Limited.
Copart UK is part of an extensive global team, operating in 11 counties with over 200 locations throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Spain, Germany, Finland, Republic of Ireland and Brazil.
We’re also an award winning business.
Our continued investment in our people, processes and technology has gained us recognition within the automotive industry.
We’re very proud to have received both industry and globally recognised awards and accolades for performance and best practice.
What makes us who we are
The Copart Values are at the heart of everything we do.
We are very proud of our ‘family’ culture, which we have retained even as our company has continued to grow. It’s our people that make our business successful, and our continued growth and success is down to their ownership, integrity and results-driven focus.
We genuinely recognise our team-mates’ efforts and achievements and celebrate those who have gone above and beyond with our quarterly recognition awards, the Copart Superstar Awards.
We also arrange an Annual Copart Fun Day, which family members can also enjoy, and is our way of saying thank you for everyone’s support.
Investing in people
We actively encourage the personal development of team-mates here at Copart.
We are committed to supporting our people in growing their skills, knowledge and experience so that they can maximise their true potential.
We’ve also made a significant investment into Copart Apprenticeships, offering team-mates the chance to learn new skills in an area which interests them, gain recognised qualifications and potentially progress within our business.
To date, we have invested in over 30 apprenticeships across our business in a range of areas including Customer Service, Team Leading, LGVs and Vehicle Damage Assessment.
